The newly created Forth Vally Food and Drink Network put out the tender to create the branding and website. The project was completely from scratch, everything needed developed.
The first thing we created was the logo, you can’t really get anywhere without a logo. ‘Spoonman’ evolved from zoom meetings and ideas between the team, Forth Valley is charecterised by the river and the hills, it was important to feature the geographical features as well as focusing on food. The producers featured in the website were so diverse that focusing on one particular aspect wasn’t going to suit everybody.
The website design flowed from the colours we created in the logo. A clear and simple design with a membership form and an easy to navigate menu were important. It needed to be accessible for all.
We also created an interactive map to highlight the locations of all the food producers within the area.
