Create a website that can be managed by staff at the Tolbooth, it must incorporate their booking system, Spektrix and be a WordPress Content Management System. The new site has the identity Culture Stirling which will merge various venues across Stirling.
Working closely with the manager of the culture department within Stirling Council we created a site that’s easily navigated, responsive and managed by the team. A simple logo was designed to bring the venues together as both the Tolbooth and Albert Halls have distinctive identities and audiences so it was important not to distract the user from these.
The booking system which is used at all venues, Spektrix was incorporated into WordPress using their web integration system. The WordPress admin area of the website was specially designed to cope with the various different types of events and multiple venues.
The events can be filtered by date, venue, special event and type of event. Users can browse all the events as they wish and book multiples events at a time as the shopping basket from Spektrix was integrated into the website.
