Ian had previously created his own site using hard coded HTML and it was becoming unmanageable, he NEEDED a content manage system fast. He had heard about WordPress and contacted us.
He had clear ideas of what he wanted and where he would like information to be presented which is always helpful when it comes to a site of this size.
The site had to incoporate a booking system and take payments other than paypal.
It was clear from the outset that this was going to be a large site and needed to be carefully managed. We had to organise all the sections so that they could be linked as well as easily updated. The shopping cart was of course going to be WooCommerce and we found a great event plugin that organised courses by location or by date.
As the National School of First Aid Training had been established for some time there was no need to change the brands colours, they were also very well suited to ‘first aid’ training’
Stripe checkout was included into the booking system to allow users to pay directly on the site rather than go via paypal.
